Litt om Helene Olafsen:

Helene Olafsen fra Oppegård og Kolbotn IL har gjennom de siste årene vist seg frem som et stort idrettstalent, og har i flere år satset for fullt innen grenen snowboardcross. I sesongen 10/11 satser Helene også i grenen slopestyle og kom raskt høyt opp på resultatlistene i sine første internasjonale konkurranser. I februar 2009 ble Helene verdensmester i snowboardcross og fikk fjerdeplassen under OL i februar 2010. Hun vant i tillegg sesongens siste worldcuprenn i La Molina, og sikret dermed også 2.plass i verdenscupen sammnelagt. Helene er også representant for SKADEFRI!, og skal motivere snowboardere til å beskytte seg mot idrettskader.
